Great Britain: British Military Authority £1 ND (1943-45) Pick M6b Bulgaria Overprint
A World War II note that is one of only 25 prepared. The British Military Authority issue with the "Bulgaria" overprint is one that all serious military collectors desire. These notes were part of an elaborate misinformation campaign in order to keep the Germans off balance in regards to the intentions of where the Allies might invade. The actual invasion plans of the Anglo-American forces were directed at French North Africa in November 1942. These overprinted notes played a small part in the Allies start to beat back the Germans.

Philippines: Victory Series 500 Pesos ND (1944) Pick 101c
A Pacific Theatre World War II note with this being the highest denomination of the Victory Series. The Victory Series was prepared in 1944 for use in the Philippines upon the return of General MacArthur and the subsequent liberation from the Japanese. The 500 Pesos was the first denomination of this issue to be demonetized by the Philippine government due to its high purchasing power. This produced a great rarity with our current offering being nicely preserved and earning a grade of PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ.
