An incredibly RARE franking, the 1¢ green sheet waste on a picture postcard (Sager's Lake, Valparaiso Ind.). A very fine four margin single Washington 1¢ green, perf 11, rotary press. Probably the BEST copy known, especially as Scott Catalog lists the issue in 'fine condition' only. Tied with May 21, 1924, Valparaiso, Ind., machine cancel. Very scarce and desirable. Makes for an incredible showpiece! Cat $7500.
