Die Proof sent by Perkins Bacon in December 1905 to Greece. Printed in
rose. The Greek administration marked the Proof "DR. 2" indicating that they
wanted this color used for 2 Drachmas which was effectively done.
Certificate by Mr. Manfred BERGMAN, leading expert in Olympic
philately, who concludes his certificate with the following statement:
The color essay for this value, with the Greek marking, is, to the best
of my knowledge, unique."" Staple holes in margin and small tear do not
